SOVOR Terms of Service

Notice: These Terms are divided into two parts:
  • PART A: Applies to customers purchasing wellness products from Sovor.store.
  • PART B: Applies to merchants installing the "Sovor COD: RTO Guard" Shopify App.

 

 

PART A: FOR SHOPPERS (WELLNESS PRODUCTS)

🌟 Welcome to SOVOR's Terms

These terms ensure a smooth experience when purchasing our premium wellness products including vegan protein powder, portable blenders, and anti-skid mats.

✅ Eligibility & Use

  • You must be 18 years or older to purchase from Sovor.store.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate shipping and contact information.
  • Access to order history and wellness recommendations is provided for registered account holders.

💳 Ordering & Payments

  • Product Accuracy: We strive for real-time accuracy in pricing (INR) and stock availability.
  • Payment: Secure checkout is processed immediately upon order placement.
  • Delivery: Tracking is provided for all wellness shipments via our reliable carrier network.

🔄 Returns & Refunds

All wellness products are covered by our standard return policy. Specific hygiene-related items (like opened protein supplements) may be subject to restrictions as detailed on our Return Policy page.


 

 

PART B: FOR MERCHANTS (SOVOR COD: RTO GUARD APP)

The following terms apply specifically to merchants who install the Sovor COD: RTO Guard Application from the Shopify App Store. For full product details, feature documentation, and pricing, visit sovor.store/rto-guard.

1. Messaging Protocol & Template Compliance

Sovor COD utilizes a standardized, Meta-approved automation framework to ensure maximum deliverability and account safety:

  • Locked Templates: To maintain high quality-scores and prevent WABA (WhatsApp Business Account) bans, Sovor utilizes strictly pre-approved, compliant templates. Merchants are not permitted to modify, edit, or alter message content.
  • Initiation Responsibility: While Sovor provides the templates, the Merchant is the "Initiator" of the communication. You are responsible for ensuring that the recipient is a legitimate customer who has engaged with your store.
  • Consent Warranty: You represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consents from your customers to send them transactional WhatsApp messages regarding their orders, in compliance with applicable local laws including but not limited to TRAI regulations (India), PDPA (Thailand/Singapore), PDPL (Saudi Arabia), and GDPR (EU/UK).

2. Billing & Pricing

Sovor COD: RTO Guard uses a transparent, volume-tiered per-order billing model. All charges are processed via Shopify's native subscription billing and appear on your Shopify invoice.

WhatsApp COD Verification Module

  • Free Tier: Your first 100 orders every month are processed at no cost — permanently. No credit card required.
  • STARTUP Tier (orders 1–1,000/month): $0.040 USD per order (~₹3.30)
  • SCALER Tier (orders 1,001–5,000/month): $0.030 USD per order (~₹2.50)
  • WHALE Tier (orders 5,001+/month): $0.021 USD per order (~₹1.75)
  • Volume tiers switch automatically each billing cycle based on your order volume — no manual plan switching required.

India Post Logistics Module

  • Free Tier: First 100 labels/month at no cost.
  • Growth Tier: $12 USD/month (~₹999) for up to 600 labels, plus $0.025 USD (~₹2) per label beyond 600.

COD Risk Gate Module

  • Pricing details are available on the in-app Pricing & Plans page. A free tier is included.
Important: Usage-based charges are calculated monthly and billed in arrears. No refunds are provided for partially used billing cycles. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active paid subscribers.

3. "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) & Meta Charges

Our App operates on a BYOK model to ensure the lowest possible messaging rates:

  • Meta Charges: You are solely responsible for all charges incurred on your WhatsApp Business API account, paid directly to Meta (Facebook). Sovor charges zero markup on Meta messaging fees.
  • Smart Logistics Routing: Sovor routes messages through the "Logistics/Utility Lane" to minimise your Meta costs (~₹0.13–₹0.15 per message in India), but Sovor is not liable for Meta's global pricing fluctuations.
  • BYOK Scope: This model applies to both your Meta WhatsApp Business API credentials and your India Post Business account credentials. You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid credentials for both.

4. Enterprise & High-Volume Usage

  • Stores consistently processing over 10,000 orders/month are classified as "High Volume." Sovor reserves the right to contact these merchants to transition them to a custom Enterprise plan to ensure dedicated infrastructure stability and SLA commitments.
  • Enterprise pricing and terms are negotiated directly and supersede the standard volume tiers above.

5. Limitation of Liability

Sovor COD: RTO Guard is provided "as is." We are not liable for:

  • RTO losses that occur despite verification (we provide a risk management tool, not a financial guarantee against returns).
  • Temporary service interruptions due to Shopify or Meta API downtimes.
  • Suspension of your WhatsApp Business Account by Meta due to policy violations (e.g., high report rates from customers).
  • Incorrect risk scores assigned to customers or PIN codes.
  • India Post API downtime or label generation failures.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

6. Intellectual Property

The Sovor App, including its risk algorithms, delivery intelligence scoring engine, PIN code risk network, code, and interface, is the proprietary property of Sovor Technologies. Automated extraction of data, reverse engineering, or decompiling is strictly prohibited.

7. Data Usage & Benchmarking

Sovor may use anonymised, aggregated merchant data for product improvement and industry benchmarking.

  • What this means: Aggregate statistics such as average RTO rates, COD share percentages, and delivery success patterns may be computed across the merchant network and used in product development, published industry reports, or marketing content (e.g., "merchants using this approach see an average X% reduction in RTO").
  • What this does NOT mean: No personally identifiable information about your customers, your store's identity, your store's name, or your individual order data will ever be published, sold, or shared with any third party. All benchmarking outputs are aggregate-only — no individual merchant is ever identifiable in any published result.
  • Opt-out: You may opt out of contributing your anonymised data to the benchmarking programme at any time by contacting support@sovor.in. Opting out does not affect your access to the App or any of its features.

8. Merchant Responsibilities

  • You must ensure your use of the App complies with the Indian IT Act, DPDP Act 2023, and all applicable local laws regarding customer data handling.
  • You must not use the App to send unsolicited messages or spam customers.
  • You are responsible for informing your customers that COD orders may be subject to WhatsApp verification before dispatch.
  • You must not use the App to unlawfully discriminate against customers based on religion, caste, gender, or any other protected characteristic.

9. Prohibited Uses

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or exporting App data to third parties.
  • Circumventing free tier limits via repeated app reinstalls or multiple store accounts.
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the App's source code or risk algorithms.
  • Using the App for any purpose that violates Shopify's Partner Program Agreement or Meta's Business Terms.

10. Termination

  • You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store.
  • Upon uninstall, active Shopify subscriptions are automatically cancelled.
  • Your store data will be deleted within 30 days of a written deletion request to support@sovor.in.
  • We reserve the right to terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with or without notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email to the registered store owner address at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

⚖️ Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising from the use of the Website or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
